Family Pictures

WE WANT TO WISH EVERYONE HAPPY HOLIDAYS. WE HOPE YOU ALL HAVE HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS. THIS YEAR WE WERE IN SOUTH CAROLINA FOR CHRISTMAS. THIS WAS KASSI'S FIRST TRIP BACK TO S. CAROLINA. JUSTINS AUNTS AND UNCLES WERE EXCITED TO MEET HER. WE HAD A GOOD CHRISTMAS WITH THE WADDELL FAMILY. IT NICE TO BE ABLE TO SPEND TIME WITH JUSTINS FAMILY. CARTER AND KASSI HAVE ENJOYED THE ATTENTION. I HOPE YOU ALL WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!

EACH YEAR JUSTIN HAS GOTTEN A NUTCRAKER FOR CHRISTMAS. NANA WADDELL STARTED THAT TRADITION WITH CARTER ALSO. THESE ARE THEIR NUTCRAKERS FOR THIS YEAR.

CHINA

WE WENT TO THIS MARKET THAT SERVES CRAZY STUFF THAT U CAN EAT. THERE WERE ALL TYPES OF STUFF FROM CHICKEN LIVERS, STAR FISH, SEA HORSE, TONGUE, SCORPIONS AND LOTS MORE. IT WAS FUN TO SEE WHAT THINGS PEOPLE WOULD EAT. IT DID HAVE A FUNKY SMELL.

THIS IS THE BIRDS NEST FROM THE '08 SUMMER OLYMPICS. IT WAS AN AMAZING BUILDING. WE ALSO SAW THE WATER CUBE WERE THEY HAD THE SWIMMING EVENTS.

WE WERE ABLE TO GO TO ONE OF THE BEIJING ZOOS AND SEE PANDA BEARS. THIS WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS. WE WERE SO CLOSE TO THEM. THIS PANDA WAS PUTTING ON A SHOW FOR US. IT WAS AWESOME.

I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH PLACE THIS WAS, I THINK IT WAS THE TEMPLE OF HEAVEN BUT NOT SURE. IT WAS REALLY NEAT THOUGH.

WE WERE ABLE TO GO TO CHURCH IN CHINA. THEY HAVE 3 BRANCHES IN BEIJING. IT WAS AWESOME. THEY HAVE SOME STRICK RULES THERE. LIKE NO PROSELYTING AND NO FOREIGN MEMBERS CAN ASSOCIATE WITH MEMBERS WHO ARE CHINESE. THEY MEET IN A BUSINESS BUILDING. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. IT WAS VERY COMFORTING.

THE GREAT WALL. THIS WAS VERY COOL TO SEE. THERE WERE SOME PARTS THAT WERE SO STEEP U HAD TO HOLD ON TO THE RAIL GOING UP AND DOWN. WE SAW SOME WOMEN IN HIGH HILLS THAT WERE HAVING A HARD TIME.

THE BEST AIRPLANE FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN. THIS WAS DINNER GOING FROM L.A. TO KOREA. IT WAS SO YUMMY. AND FREE!

THIS WAS A WAY FUN TRIP AND IM SO GRATEFUL FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW AND JUSTIN FOR TAKING CARE OF THE KIDS AND LETTING ME GO. IT WAS A NEAT EXPERIENCE.

FAMILY PICTURES OCT. 2009

We decided to get some family pictures with the Fall leaves. My dad was the lucky one to take our pictures. Thanks dad! We went up to Bues Pond and got these pictures. It is so pretty up there. It was fun spending time together and getting family pics. For some reason Carter decided to try out a new smile. I don't know where it came from but its a little scary. He was being such a goof ball. Between him picking his nose and making funny faces we were lucky to get some decent pictures.

DEER HUNT OCT. 2009

So Justin, my Dad, brothers T and Russ, and brother in law Jeremy all drew out for a deer hunt in Wyoming, confrence weekend. We all decided to pack the kids up and spend the weekend camping (CRAZY! ) It was really cold but we all had fun. Out of the 5 tags we got 4 deer, though they all had many chances at deer.

Here are a few pics from the past month. We have been busy. Justin's dad came in for a visit, which everyone enjoyed. Carter had lots of fun with Papa going places. I think they spent 5hrs at Chuck E Cheese one day. He loved it. We were able to go down to the Temple Open House in South Jordan. Lots of fun. We look Carter to Lagoon and went on the Front Runner with Papa Waddell and Erica. Kassi is 5 months old. She's rolling over. Eating baby food. I tried to introduced the baby food a little at a time but she wasn't going to have that. She wants the whole thing. At least she's not spitting up as much.
